My last Easter holidays

Hi, guys. Here I am, again.

I hope you're not tired of reading my texts, so, if you’re not, I invite you to read one more, because it means a lot to me.

I spent my holidays at home. I watched TV, played on the computer, posted on my blogs a lot and I studied just a little bit… LOL.

Holidays seem to be a cool time, a time to rest, a fantastic time for me. It's an opportunity to forget our problems and give attention to us and to our family.

I spent a lot of time with my family, and I couldn't wait more for it.
On Maundy Thursday, I went to the mass, and I thought a lot about GOD too. This day is to value what we've got.

On Good Friday, I saw many movies on TV about the lives of Mary, Jesus and Joseph. I really like to see every year these movies, because I feel like I'm giving my time to God, thinking in Jesus, and it means much to me.

On Saturday, I went to the mass and I read the Gospel. On Easter Sunday, I went to Madeira Shopping with mom, dad and my sister. It was cool, and my mom bought me a book, and I love it!

On the last day I met Rita. I really love my friends.
I made school homework with my BFF and we passed (spent) a good time together.
I really LOVE HOLIDAYS!

Hi, everyone! How was your last weekend with your family? Was it fun? Was it great? Mine was.
I went with my family to the supermarket, and we didn't go to another place because my sister, me and my mom, we had too much work to do before Monday.

We had a great day, we laughed so much! My father is a great comedian, you know?
I loved this weekend because it was simple, but so great!

Hello!
How is your mother? Is she funny? Intelligent? Cool? Mine is!

My mother is a teacher, and she teaches kids from 1st to 4th grade. She loves her work, but she tells that politicians are doing wrong things to the schools.

She loves to write texts, humm… just like me! No, I'm like her! LOL.
The only thing that I think that I'm different from her is that she’s not lazy, like me. Yeah, but nobody is perfect! And that is my fault.

I like to sing, and she loves too, but now she has got a problem on her throat, so she can't do it now.

She is very religious, and she's a very good mom. I like when she cooks our favorite food.

She's the best mother in the world, I think. She's a cool and very smiley person, and I LOVE HER.

My favourite game

Hi! How are you?
I’m fine, I guess...

In this text I will tell you some things about my favourite game… Well, it is a computer game. Guess What! It’s SIMS 2!

I just have one version, but I have an older friend that has installed some other versions of this game in my PC.

No, I’m not addicted to this game. My godmother gave me this game last year, in my birthday. I just play it on holidays, and I rarelly do remember to play it.

I think that this game is fun because even if you’re a child, you have to take care of parents and children and manage all their money. There are responsibilities, but they make us laugh and have a great time.

When I play it, I just play it for one and a half hour, because you can’t “be in front of PC all the day”!

I think that it’s OK to play games, but you can’t take time from school to just play them!

My favourite room

Adriana likes her bedroom because there are all her things in there, and that’s the room where she can dream without being disturbed by others.

Here I am, once again.

Now I’m going to talk about my favourite room... And guess what? It’s my bedroom... or my and my sister’s bedroom!

Yes, I share my bedroom with her. Sometimes it’s difficult, but we know that there’s isn’t other chance.

My bedroom is upstairs, and it is between my parents' bedroom and my mom’s study. It’s also in front of the living room.

To me and to my sister, our bedroom is small. It’s rectangular and there are tapestries on the walls, a computer and a desk. There’s a big window and just one door.

I like my bedroom because there are all my things in there, and that’s the room where I can dream without being disturbed by others, and where I can write my diary.

It’s very cool, and I love it!

Hi! My house is at Arco da Calheta. I have a detached house, in Rua dos Palheiros, and it’s very simple: it’s not a big house.

Downstairs there is the garage, where my parents’ cars stay. Upstairs there is a kitchen, a study, two bedrooms and a living room. On top there is the attic, where my old toys are.

My kitchen has three colours: orange, white and yellow. All the other rooms are white. I share my bedroom with my sister, but sometimes it’s not easy, because each one of us needs her space. But my favourite room is my bedroom.

I don’t have a big garden and I don’t have a swimming pool. I think you don’t need to have a big house to feel good… you just have to like your home. And I like mine!:D

I’m going to talk about my best friend, Sónia.

We met in the 1st year, and since that year, we are best friends. We love each other. She is very cool and understanding.

She can make me laugh when I'm sad, and she is always by my side. Sometimes, we talk about what we like, like music, fashion, languages, and about school.

We are good students. We have the same second name, Cristina. She calls me Adri, and I call her Kitty, or Chris.

We have good times together and we know that our secrets, with our connection, will never leave our souls, because we respect very much each other.

Sometimes, even though we are not neighbours, I go to her house or she comes to my place, and we have a good time together, after school.

We like to do the (home)work together, or study.
We know that we’ll be best friends 4 ever!

My English teacher

Hi, there!
I’m going to talk about my English teacher, Nélio.

He is my teacher this year, and I’m in the 7th grade. He is modern. He is organized too. He does exercises for us, and we have to do them (well).

He teaches us and tells us some curiosities about England. Sometimes, somebody in our class tells me that he is a bad teacher, and they say that he is too organized and boring, but I don’t believe in that.

I think that it is good to have an organized and intelligent teacher, because that give us a good example for the future.

The only thing that I don’t like much is that he is too tolerant. If somebody does something that is wrong to do in the classroom, he just says: “Please, don’t do that!” [and notes down the misbehaviour in his file or even sends the student out to study in the Library]. I think that is good to be tolerant, but not too much, because people can abuse.

And that’s what I think about my English teacher! :)
