Hello, my name is Ricardo and now I'm going to describe my school. The name of my school is Escola Básica e Secundária da Calheta, and it is located in Estrada Simão Gonçalves Câmara. My school was opened in 1982.

My school has got six buildings and one gymnasium. In the main building there is the first aid room, the general office, the director's office, the photocopy room and the conference room.

In the second building, there is a canteen and classrooms. In the third building there are classrooms and one laboratory. In the fourth building there are two computer rooms and other classrooms. In the fifth building there are classrooms, one bar, the students' bar, and the radio station, the Radio Horizonte. We also have one swimming pool.

For me my school is good, but somethings aren't good. But for the next year, the school will be better. This is my school!

Hello, my name is Ricardo and I like my school.
Concerning the buildings, the school is very organized. The classrooms have the necessary materials like chairs and tables for the classes. I don't find any problems about this.

The homework is important but too much homework is tiring. For me the teachers are good, but sometimes they are boring. They teach us very important things.

My favourite subjects are P.E. and Arts and Crafts. My weakest subjects are... I don't know. I played in a football team.

In short, I like my school but there are some things I don't like. Sometimes the others students and the security guards annoy us.

My school is good but it isn't the best school. This is my opinion about school.

Hi, my name is Ricardo and my birthday is on the 31st of May.

That day was a Sunday. I woke up at 9:30 am. My first present was a mobile phone and the second was clothes. At 10:00 am I ate.

At eleven o'clock I went to play computer and at 12:00 pm I watched TV. Then I had lunch. From 13:00 pm till 17:00 pm I went to play computer with my friend in her house. We played GTA IV. I like this game. When I came home I went to see football, but unfortunately , my team lost the game.

At 19:00 pm the guests began to arrive. We ate, spoke, played computer, played ping-pong etc.

My gifts were a mobile phone, clothes and money. Now I am thirteen years old. Now I am thirteen!!!!!!

Hi! My name is Ricardo and now I’m going to speak about my teachers.

Over the years I have had new teachers, but the teachers are always fine. In this school year I have thirteen teachers. These teachers are good, but sometimes, are bad. I don’t prefer one teacher because I like them all.

My class director is Sonia. She is the Portuguese teacher. She is a good teacher. My English teacher is Nélio. He is very organised because in class he always has his portable computer where he writes his notes.

And I have other teachers for the other subjects. I also like them. I like my teachers!

My Easter holidays

On last Easter holidays I had fun. I played lots of football and on the computer, but I also studied a lot.

In the first week I played and made the homework. In the second week I went to church on the Good Friday, Maundy Thursday, Resurrection Day and on the Easter day.

On Sunday I ate very sweet almonds and chocolate eggs.

My Easter holiday was very cool.

Hi, my name is Ricardo and now I'm going to talk about my last weekend.

On Friday night I went to the scouts, where I sing. After I went to explain my football coach why I missed training. Next I went home to sleep, because Saturday is my favourite day.

On Saturday I woke up at 9:30 am, because my cousin arrived and I went with him to play computer. I stayed with my cousin for a lot of time, but at twelve o'clock I went to play football with him.

At one pm I had lunch, because I was hungry. One hour after I went to the scouts and the church.

Next I came home and I ate and watched TV. Next I went to sleep.

On Monday we had a football game and we won. The result was Estrela 5, Gaula 1.
Next I went home, I ate, watched TV, did my homework, and finally I went to sleep.

This was my last weekend!

Hi! My name is Ricardo, and now I'm goingo to describe my school.

My school is a public school and has got six buildings. One is for the sports, four are for classes and one is for the teachers and the others important people.

In the first building, there is the library, the conference room, the teachers' coffee room, the director's office and more sevices.

In the second building we have the canteen and rooms for classes. In the third and fourth buildings there are more classrooms. In the fifth building we have rooms for classes, the pupils' bar and the radio station. The name of the radio is “Radio Horizonte”.

I like my school because I lean, of course, and speak with my friends and it is fun to me.

City or countryside

Hi, my name is Ricardo and I'm going to talk about life in the countryside and the city.

In my opinion I prefer living in the countryside because is more calm, it doesn't have too much people (it is not crowded) and there is no pollution.

I feel it is more important to live in the city, but there is too much stress, it's noisy, it is not quiet, just too many people.

I think it is easier to live in the countryside, because there aren't many streets or cars. Shopping, going to the doctor or to the airport are the reasons I go to the city.

I like the countryside because it is more beautiful than the city.

Hi, my name is Ricardo and my favourite game is FIFA 09 or FIFA Soccer 09.

I like this game because I like football. Also because it has my favourite clubs. My favourite clubs are SL Benfica, Man.United FC, FC Barcelona and FC Internazionale Milano (Inter de Mião). The best of this clubs is Man.United.

In the game we create players, with our names, and we create one club. The name of my new club is “Estrela da Calheta”, because it is the club where I play at this moment.

For me the best player is the incredible Cristiano Ronaldo.

Hi! My name is Ricardo and my favourite room is the living room.

The living room is on the first floor. It is medium size. It’s rectangular and the colour is white. There are two armchairs and one big sofa. The carpet is under the armchairs, the television and the coffee table. The sofa is next to the carpet. The coffee table is between the armchairs and the television. Next to the TV there are very big flower pots and they are fake.

On the right there's the door, and behind a flower pot there's the window. Through the window I see the garden.

I like the living room because I do my homework there, watch TV, talk with my family and listen to music.

Hi! My name is Ricardo and I like my house.

My house is medium size, it is situated in Francisco Sá Carneiro Avenue, in Calheta.

My house has got four floors. The roof, the first floor, the ground floor and the basement.

In the basement we have the table tennis table, the books of previous years and many stuff. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, the dinning room, the living room, the guest room and the garage.

The first floor has one kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one living room and the hall. One bedroom is the boys' bedroom; the other is the girl's bedroom and the other one is my parents' bedroom.

João Pedro is intelligent, responds to almost everything that teachers ask, but above all he is a good friend.

We were the finest students in our class, and I was in the second place. He had better class notes than me. In the past he used to be better than me.

I get up at a quarter to eight. I put my clothes and eat my breakfast. Next I go to school.

At a quarter past eight I have classes. After classes I go to my house.

At half past one I eat my lunch. Next I listen to music, do my homework, ride my bike, play football, watch TV, play computer games, go to my friends' house and more things.

At seven o’clock I eat my tea. Next I watch TV again. At half eight I have dinner. At ten o’clock I go to bed, and read a book. At eleven o’clock I go sleep.
