Opinion on school

Carolina really dislikes teachers who gives her lots of homework to do.

I think school is OK and I enjoy going there every day. I like school, because it is where I meet my friends.

I feel that I have to go to school, because I have to learn, so one day later on I can be someone and do something with my life.

There are subjects that I like, for example, Geography, Science, Maths, History and English and there are some I don't like, such as Music and PE.

However, there are things about school I don't like. For example, I really dislike teachers who give me lots of homework to do.

My School

Carolina says her school is getting a bit old and uncomfortable.

I'm a student in Escola Básica e Secundária da Calheta. This school is located in Sitio da Vargem.

There are five buildings in my school. The headmaster's room is in the main building.
In the second, third, fourth and fifth buildings there are normal classes. There are classrooms, laboratories and in building two there is the canteen. In the fifth building there is a bar for the students.

There is also a gymnasium. I think my school is getting a bit old and uncomfortable. I hope you enjoyed the visit to my school. Do not forget!

My Easter holidays

The birth of Carolina's cousin was the most important event on her Easter holidays.

Hi, I am Carolina, and I will tell you about my Easter holidays.
I hope yours was good as mine.

My Easter Holidays were good, because I had lot of fun and I was with my family, to celebrate this very special day.

I ate many sweets like almonds, chocolate eggs and other traditional sweets. There for I gained a bit of weight.

I had a big surprise in my Easter vacation, my cousin Soraia was born on Easter Sunday. I was very happy, she is very beautiful! I love babies!

I love being on vacation so I can relax and enjoy myself. I think these were my best Easter holidays only because of the birth of my cousin made me be so happy.

My house

Carolina live in a three floor house.

My house is in Estreito da Calheta, Moinhos Abaixo and it is a big house.

My house has three floors and thirteen rooms. There are five bedrooms, four bathrooms, one living room, two kitchens two garages, and there's a garden too. Its colour is white but the windows' frame are yellow.

My favourite rooms are my bedroom and the living room, because it is where I study, watch TV, where I sleep and where I just have fun.

On the 1st floor there is one kitchen, two bedrooms, one bathroom. On the 2nd floor there are three bedrooms, three bathrooms, one living room, and one kitchen. On the 3rd there are two garages and a computer room.

My favourite room

Carolina loves her pink room.

My favorite room is my bedroom, which is on the second floor, between the bathroom and my brother's bedroom.

The room is medium size, it's square and the colour of the room is pink.

My bedroom has a window and a door. There are two beds and four bed side cabinets in front of the beds. There is a big wardrobe and next the beds and the wardrobe there is a make up desk.

I like my bedroom because it is a where I do whatever I want.

A day in my life

Carolina goes to school by bus everyday.

My name is Carolina, I am 12 years old and I am a student.

At a quarter to seven am I always wake up but I only get up at seven o`clock am. Then I have a shower at five past seven. I have breakfast at a quarter past seven and I brush my teeth at ten to eight am.

I go to school by bus everyday and I get there at eigth o'clock am. I have lessons from a quarter past eigth until midday.

I have lunch at half past twelve pm and after lunch I have lessons (at a quarter past one). I go home at a quarter to five pm.

When I get home I do the homework and next I study until half past six pm. I usually have dinner at half past seven pm, then I watch TV and I go to bed at eigth o'clock.
My days are fun and very happy.

My name is Carolina and my surname is A.. I was born in Funchal and I am twelve years old. I am Portuguese and I am from Calheta.

I have got long and brown hair and I have small eyes. My mother's name is Susana and I have got one sister and one brother.
