My school

Diogo thinks his school is very good, but he doesn't like the snack in the canteen.

My school is Escola Básica e Secundária da Calheta.

There are five buildings, two coffee-bars (teachers' bar and student's bar), one gym, one swimming pool, one stationery, one photocopy room, general office, library, toilets, canteen, computer rooms and laboratories.

My school offers some entertainment like table football and table tennis.
I think my school is very good and comfortable, but I don't like the snack in the canteen.

Last Carnival holidays

Diogo ate "malassadas" last Carnival.

In the last Carnival holidays I ate “malassadas” with sugar can honey.

I helped my father and tidied up my bedroom. Then I played practical jokes on other people and I went to see the Carnival parade in Funchal.

After that I went to a friends's house and I played with my friends. I ate “sonhos” with sugar.
I also travelled to the Portuguese mainland.

My last weekend

Last weekend Diogo went up the mountains to see the snow.

Last weekend I played on the computer and watched TV.

I also went to a party and to the beach. In there I went for a walk.

I went to see the snow too.

City or countryside

Diogo likes the countryside.

The countryside is calm and quiet. It is also big and natural. It is very good.

The city is polluted and very noisy, but in the city there are lots of shops.

My bedroom is my favourite place because it's very good, nice, modern, large, cosy and attractive.

There is one bed, one window, one desk, one wardrobe, one bedside cabinet and two carpets.
It's very spacious and big.

My house

My house is big and salmon-coloured.

It has got three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living-rooms, two kitchens, one study and a laundry-room.
There is also a garage for two cars and it doesn’t have a garden, but it has one big terrace.

It has a sea view and mountain view. It has also got a barbecue area.
It is situated in a cool, peaceful area, and it has got space to keep pets.

My first name's Diogo and my surname is T.. I was born in Calheta and I am twelve years old. I'm Portuguese and I'm from Madeira.

I've got short brown hair and dark medium eyes. I'm tall and elegant.

My mother's name is Nancy and I've got one sister. She is Ana Sofia.

My favourite colour is blue and I'm a Porto supporter. My favourite hobby is listening to music and watching soccer.

My favourite kind of music is pop/rock. I like the band Da Weasel. I have Internet and hi5.

I also like reading and doing sports.

I have got two pets: two dogs. I do not like vegetarian food and I play soccer. My favourite food is spaghetti.
