My opinion on school life

There are things I like and I don’t like about school.

I like Music, PE, History, English and Portuguese. My favourite subject is Music and my weakest subjects are Maths and French.

I like homework because it helps me studying. I think my teachers are good and nice. I don’t do any sports in school.

My school is Básica e Secundária da Calheta. Its location is Sítio da Vargem (Calheta).
My school is twenty-seven years old!

In my school there is a teacher’s office, classrooms, gym, coffee-bars, library, a canteen and other facilities.

I like the gym, the coffee-bar and the canteen.
I think the school is cool and very confortable!

Last Easter holidays

On my Easter holidays I watched TV, went for a walk, received chocolate Easter eggs and almonds. On Saturday I went to the beach party.

On Easter Sunday I went lunch at my grandparents' house.
My holidays were cool.

City or countryside

Laura likes living in the countryside.

My favourite place is the countryside because it is quiet, there are animals, no traffic, no streets full of people. It is also big and natural.

The city is polluted, there is much more confusion and it is very noisy, but in the city there are lots of shops.

My favourite room is my bedroom. My bedroom is big.

In my bedroom there is one bed, two bedside tables, one desk, one lamp, one bookcase and one wardrobe. My bed is between the two bedside tables. My wardrobe is in front of the bed. The bed is on the right side of the window. The bookcase is in front of desk.

I love my bedroom.

A day in my life

My name is Laura and my surname is Canha. I am twelve years old.

In the morning I wake up at a quarter past seven a.m. I get up at twenty past seven a.m. Next I get dressed. When I finish getting dressed I have breakfast. After I wash my face and comb my hair. Next I brush my teeth. At five to eight I leave the house.

At a quarter past eight a.m. I go to the lessons. Later I go home by bus at twenty past one p.m..

In the afternoon, when arrive at home I have lunch. Later at three o'clock p.m. I work and next I watch TV. After that I listen to music.

Later I have a shower and at half past nine p.m. I have dinner. Finally, at eleven o'clock p.m. I go to bed.
