My favourite place is the countryside because it is quiet, there are animals, no traffic, no streets full of people. It is also big and natural.

The city is polluted, there is much more confusion and it is very noisy, but in the city there are lots of shops.

I like living in the countryside!

Hello.

In my opinion, I prefer the city because I like shopping, the noise, the gigant buildings and the other things.

I don't like the countryside because it's very calm. When I grew up I'm going to live in the city in a building, and have a job then.

Maybe when I retire I go live again in the countryside, but I don't know. I'm just a kid. I don't know how my opinion about the countryside is going to change (evolve). Maybe I will live here forever.

Living in the city or in the countryside?

Calvin loves both the city and the countryside for different reasons.

Both the city and the countryside have their advantages and their disvantages.

When I lived in the city I liked living there as there are more people, cinamas, big shopping centres…

But when I moved here to Madeira, I started to love the Nature of the countryside: the fresh air, sociable people and the scenic views. I love this calm and pleasant life.

I still like everything the city has to offer; the crowded and busy streets, lots of constructions and most important are the chances of getting a good and a stable job.

I will grow up here in the countryside because it is safe but later when I go study I would like to live in the city, maybe in London or Lisbon.

Only time will tell!

Hi, my name is Ricardo and I'm going to talk about life in the countryside and the city.

In my opinion I prefer living in the countryside because is more calm, it doesn't have too much people (it is not crowded) and there is no pollution.

I feel it is more important to live in the city, but there is too much stress, it's noisy, it is not quiet, just too many people.

I think it is easier to live in the countryside, because there aren't many streets or cars. Shopping, going to the doctor or to the airport are the reasons I go to the city.

I like the countryside because it is more beautiful than the city.
